Services
Grocery Shopping
- This service is available each week on Wednesday in Petrolia and Forest, and on Thursday in Corunna.
Orders must be placed before noon on the day of the shopping in your area. To place and order, simply
phone the office in the morning before noon.
- Groceries will be shopped for and delivered in the afternoon of the order date.
- You are required to pay by cash or cheque upon receipt of the groceries and presentation of the receipt.
Grocery Shopping - Volunteer Information
- Volunteers for the grocery shopping program are given a list of groceries (via a phone call) by our
Coordinator of Community Services. The volunteer then shops for the groceries and delivers the order to
the client. The volunteer must collect payment from the client and return the money to the grocery store.
- Volunteers in this program are reimbursed for kilometers driven in their vehicle.
- Grocery shopping and delivery takes place in the early afternoon on Wednesday (Petrolia & Forest) or
Thursday (Corunna)
