This program is offered in the form of a frozen meal program (offered throughout Lambton County), or a hot meal program (offered in Forest, Thedford, Grand Bend, Alvinston and Petrolia).
Frozen meals are delivered every two weeks. You can use frozen Meals on Wheels as a regular meal plan, or as a supplement to your regular cooking.
There is no limit to how many frozen meals you can order.
Hot Meals are delivered two to three times per week, depending on the area.
You must live within the town limits to receive hot meals in that town.
The hot meal program includes an entree, a soup and dessert.

This program is offered to provide nutritious meals and a safety check to isolated seniors. You are encouraged to spend a few minutes with each client upon delivery of the meals.
Volunteers delivering frozen meals will pick up the meals at Lambton Meadowview Villa (Petrolia) and deliver the meals within a designated area of the county. There are different delivery routes for different days.
Thermal bags are used to transport the frozen meals.
Volunteers receive a binder with the route list, client names, order sheet and checklist.
You may pick up one of our vans (at Reece's Corners) in which to make the delivery, or you can use your own vehicle.
You will be reimbursed for kilometers driven if you use your own vehicle.
Delivery to South Lambton occurs bi-weekly on Thursdays
Delivery to areas in North Lambton occurs bi-weekly on Fridays
Delivery to Central Lambton occurs bi-weekly on Mondays
