Transportation
Let our staff and volunteer drivers get you to your destination
- Potential clients are assessed for service. You may be eligible for either volunteer transportation
(transportation with a volunteer in his or her car), or our Van Transportation (transportation in our wheelchair accessible Vans with a staff driver).
- Our transportation service may be used for transportation to and from medical appointments, shopping/errands, or social engagements.
- We transport clients to areas outside of Lambton County, within a 120km radius from our office at Reece's Corners (Excluding U.S.A.)
- Our Transportation service operates seven days a week
Transportation - Volunteer Information
- As a volunteer driver, you will be called on (according to your availability) to transport clients in your own vehicle to medical, educational,
recreational and/or social engagements.
- We offer transportation to clients within a 120 km of our head office at Reece's Corners (excluding U.S.A.) ; however you may choose,
and specify the areas in and around Lambton County to which you are willing to drive.
- You will be reimbursed a standard rate for kilometers driven (currently
$0.42 per kilometer).
