Covid-19 - LEO is still here for you

These are very interesting times. It is crucial that we all take this pandemic very seriously, in order to keep each other as safe as possible. Maintain physical distancing to at least 6 feet (2 metres), stay at home whenever possible and be sure to self-isolate for at least 14 days if you have any symptoms. If symptoms escalate, seek medical attention through your Primary Health Practitioner. The emergency room should be a last resort, but a viable one if symptoms continue to escalate.

The staff and volunteers at LEO are taking every precaution to keep themselves and our clients safe and LEO continues to provide essential services. Each client will receive a phone call the day before each scheduled service and will be asked "pre-screener" questions. Available services are as follows:
- Transportation including non-urgent stretcher van
- Meals on Wheels meal delivery
- Personal Support Services including personal care, respite, housekeeping (for more vulnerable clients)
- Crisis Intervention services (more serious issues)

Please be safe, be responsible and just love each other.

"About 10 years ago, my arthritis began interfering with my daily life. I was having trouble keeping up my home and did not know where to turn. My husband and I realized we would have to make the decision to either ask for help or possibly move. After contacting Lambton Elderly Outreach, I was amazed by the help they provided me with. I have had my homemaker for 10 years and I could not be anymore satisfied with the service. I am thankful for Lambton Elderly Outreach because without their help, I would not be able to live in my home."
